Resident Care Associate

Position Overview Resident Care Associate to join The Phoenix at Tucker. The role reports directly to the Family Experience Director, Pearl Director, or the Assistant Family Experience Director. Shift Details Mon-Fri; every other weekend required. Purpose The Resident Care Associate is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. This includes hands‑on care, physical and emotional support as outlined in each resident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP) while maintaining a safe, comfortable, homelike environment. The incumbent demonstrates all elements of wellness, remains in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations, and follows Phoenix policies to promote the highest quality of care. Responsibilities Participates in the development and updates of Personalized Service Plans and attends service plan review meetings with families as requested. Follows the hydration schedule and ensures it is maintained during the shift. Completes resident meal attendance sheets and provides room service or accounts for residents who do not dine in the dining room. Complies with all resident rights. Initiates, assigns, and assists with activities as appropriate. Checks all assigned residents daily for cleanliness, appropriate clothing, continence issues, and changes in condition. Uses proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions. Checks assigned resident rooms daily for general cleanliness and neatness; takes appropriate action, ensuring high-risk rooms are double checked. Assists with conducting laundry room and common area (including bathrooms) checks for cleanliness and exposed hazardous chemicals; takes appropriate action, including contacting housekeeping or personally cleaning the area. Completes all ADLs for assigned residents per the PSP. Responds promptly to security system and resident call bells, resetting call bells as needed. Education, Experience, and Certification High school education preferred and may be required by state law. Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age to perform the personal care aspects of the role. Knowledge and experience in assisted living, dementia care, or skilled nursing is preferred. Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours; available during peak service delivery times. Compensation $16.00 per hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr
