Senior Engineer of macanical simulation

Job Description

Ampace (新能安) is a global battery-technology company specializing in lithium-ion cells and systems for energy storage, data centers, and critical power. Our R&D pairs advanced cell chemistry with semi-solid-state technology to deliver safe, high-performance batteries at scale. This position is based at our R&D center in Xiamen, China.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead cell-level structural-mechanics research and build accurate mechanical-condition simulation models, with correct layer relations and material parameters, to describe component behavior and assess failure risk.

2. Lead cell-to-pack electro-thermal-mechanical multiphysics coupling models, studying load transfer and defining reduced-order-model usage standards.

3. Set the roadmap for AI-assisted structural simulation to raise overall accuracy and efficiency.

4. Identify the team's simulation gaps against the pack product roadmap and lead targeted technology development.

Requirements:

1. PhD in mechanics, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, or materials.

2. Strong theoretical, engineering, and material mechanics, elastoplasticity, finite-element theory, and engineering thermophysics.

3. Finite-element tools such as HyperWorks, Abaqus, Ansys, and nCode; knowledge of Li-ion cell structure and physicochemistry.

4. Familiarity with metal and plastic mechanical properties and test methods; Pro/E or CATIA; and common forming processes (injection molding, tooling, welding, stamping, casting).

岗位职责

1. 负责电芯结构力学研究，建立高精度力学仿真模型，准确构建电芯各层结构关系及材料参数，模拟关键部件受力行为并评估失效风险。

2. 负责电芯到电池包（Cell to Pack）的电-热-力多物理场耦合仿真模型开发，研究载荷传递机理，并制定降阶模型（ROM）的应用规范。

3. 制定AI辅助结构仿真技术的发展路线，推动人工智能在结构仿真中的应用，提高仿真精度和研发效率。

4. 结合电池包产品技术路线，识别团队在仿真技术方面的能力差距，并主导关键技术攻关与能力建设。

任职要求

1. 力学、机械工程、车辆工程、材料等相关专业博士学历。
\n
2. 扎实的力学理论基础，熟悉工程力学、材料力学、弹塑性力学、有限元理论及工程热物理等专业知识。

3. 熟练使用 HyperWorks、Abaqus、Ansys、nCode 等有限元分析软件，了解锂离子电芯结构及其电化学、物理化学相关知识。

4. 熟悉金属、塑料等材料的力学性能及测试方法，掌握 Pro/E 或 CATIA 等三维设计软件，并了解注塑、模具、焊接、冲压、铸造等常见制造工艺。
