Live Sound Application Engineer

Location: Preferably East Coast w/ Travel (open to candidates across the US)A leading innovator in professional audio technology is seeking an Application Engineer to support the deployment, commissioning, optimization, and ongoing support of world-class audio installations across major entertainment, live event, and immersive venue environments.This role is ideal for an engineer with hands-on experience in professional audio systems, system tuning, acoustics, AV integration, or venue technology who enjoys working directly with customers and field teams to deliver exceptional audio experiences.ResponsibilitiesSupport system design and acoustic modeling for large-scale audio installationsTranslate venue and client requirements into practical technical solutionsPrepare technical deliverables including simulations, measurement reports, system documentation, and recommendationsCommission, test, tune, and troubleshoot professional loudspeaker systems in live venuesCollaborate with venue operators, consultants, integrators, and production teams throughout the project lifecycleProvide post-installation support, optimization, and troubleshootingDeliver technical training, demonstrations, and partner enablement activitiesCapture project learnings and contribute to process improvement initiativesQualifications3+ years of experience in professional audio, acoustics, AV integration, system engineering, live production, or event technologyExperience designing, commissioning, or supporting loudspeaker systems in venues such as theaters, arenas, stadiums, houses of worship, immersive environments, or entertainment venuesKnowledge of acoustic modeling and simulation tools such as EASE, CATT, or similarExperience with measurement and tuning platforms such as SMAART, EASERA, or equivalentUnderstanding of audio networking, signal flow, system optimization, and troubleshootingStrong customer-facing communication skillsAbility to work independently in fast-paced project environmentsDegree in Audio Engineering, Acoustics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience preferredNice to HaveExperience with CAD or 3D design tools including SketchUp, Revit, or AutoCADExperience working on high-profile entertainment, venue, or immersive audio projectsFamiliarity with beamforming, spatial audio, or advanced loudspeaker technologiesTravelApproximately 25-50% domestic travel, with occasional international travelBenefitsWork on technology that is redefining professional audio, with direct impact on globally visible projectsJoin an international, open-minded team across applications, software, hardware, product, research, and project delivery, in an environment that offers a high degree of ownership, hands-on learning, and real growth opportunitiesFor our US-based employees, we offer competitive compensation, flexible working arrangements, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support wellbeing, financial security, and a productive work setup
