Why Your Work Matters Here Educating the Whole Child: Students participate in daily structured physical education - including martial arts, tennis, and soccer - as part of our whole-child approach to education. What You'll Do Facility Maintenance Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and empty trash throughout the building. Perform floor care, including buffing, waxing, and carpet maintenance. Complete minor building repairs and report maintenance issues as needed. Maintain custodial equipment and ensure adequate cleaning supplies are available. Safety & Operations Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly school environment. Follow established safety procedures and complete required safety training. Operate custodial equipment safely and efficiently. Support school operations by responding to custodial and facility needs as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by school administration. Professional Responsibilities Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Work independently while managing daily cleaning priorities. Maintain positive working relationships with students, staff, and visitors. Follow oral and written instructions and contribute to a positive team environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of required state and federal background checks. Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and other physical activity. Ability to work in environments with dust, cleaning chemicals, varying temperatures, noise, and other routine maintenance conditions.
