School Psychologist | Loveland, Ohio

Job Description

Shape the academic journey of young students by providing crucial psychological support at the elementary level. An experienced School Psychologist is needed to cover a leave from September 15th through November 2nd. This rewarding, full-time contract position serves two elementary schools within close proximity, supporting K-5th grade students. You’ll work 8 am–4 pm each day, dividing your schedule evenly between both sites—just two miles apart. If you prefer remote work, virtual candidates are welcome to apply.

Key Qualifications:

Valid School Psychologist certification/license (State of Ohio or eligibility)
Experience working in school settings, preferably at the elementary level
Strong understanding of RETRs (Reevaluations) and IETRs (Initial Evaluations)
Ability to provide behavioral support and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Skilled in assessments, report writing, and special education processes
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational assessments, create comprehensive reports, and participate in eligibility determination meetings
Provide consultation and intervention services related to academic, social, and behavioral development
Support multidisciplinary teams in creating and implementing IEPs and behavior intervention plans
Split time evenly between two elementary schools; collaborate closely with staff at each location
Maintain clear, timely documentation and ongoing communication with families and teams
Support a smooth transition for students and staff during the leave coverage period
