Seeking a passionate and skilled School Psychologist for a contract opportunity supporting K-5 students. This role covers a leave from September 15th to November 2nd, providing critical services in two nearby elementary schools. The caseload is evenly split, with 2.5 days spent at each school—just two miles apart for easy access. Both onsite and virtual candidates are encouraged to apply, allowing flexibility to match your needs.
In this position, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the educational experience and emotional well-being of elementary students. With a full-time schedule from 8am to 4pm, you’ll collaborate with staff to support students through RETRs and IETRs, while also providing guidance on behavior interventions when needed.
What you bring:
- Valid School Psychologist credential (state-specific).
- Graduate degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in school settings.
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and travel between two locations as required.
- Familiarity with response to intervention, psychoeducational assessments, IEP participation, and behavioral support.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and support teams.
- Comfortable with both in-person and virtual service delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and participate in RETRs and IETRs.
- Develop and support intervention strategies for student behavior and learning.
- Provide direct and consultative services to staff and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all district and legal standards.
