Academic Coordinator/College & Career Advisor

Location Lake Region/Fryeburg Adult Education Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Adult Education, or closely related field – required Minimum of three years working with and advising adults and adolescents in transition services – required Maine Teaching Certification (minimum Adult Education endorsement) – preferred Demonstrated knowledge and experience teaching and advising adults and youth Experience with program management and development Excellent organizational skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Possesses group and community-building skills Responsibilities will include but not be limited to Student intake and career pathways plan development Career & College advising based on student need Academic assessment, HS Diploma and College Transition students Program planning, design, assessment and evaluation that meet CCRS standards Requisition of funds for program supplies and textbooks Initial and on-going assessment of students Student academic advising and placement as appropriate Teaching courses, workshops, and seminars aligned with targeted grant objectives and outcomes Data collection and accurate record keeping Plan and participate in Professional Development activities as outlined by the Director #J-18808-Ljbffr ServingSchools
