As a Data Engineer at Sardine, you will play a crucial role in building and managing the internal data infrastructure and data warehouse. This position involves creating and owning ETL/ELT pipelines, managing billing data, and partnering with teams to define KPIs that drive data-driven decisions. You will ensure data quality, governance, and comprehensive documentation, while also creating impactful dashboards for various departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage Sardine's internal data infrastructure and data warehouse.
• Own ETL/ELT pipelines across internal and external systems.
• Manage billing data and backend data models for analytics.
• Partner with teams to define KPIs and facilitate data-driven decisions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and thorough documentation.
• Create dashboards for executives, GTM, product, and finance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with experience in BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran, and Airflow.
• Experience with integrations across Salesforce, HubSpot, Amplitude, Sigma, and Tableau.
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, and Sigma.
• Understanding of financial data and regulatory considerations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and a bias toward action.
