Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and treating acute, chronic, or episodic health issues independently or in collaboration with physicians depending on credentialing
• Providing education to patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and management of diseases
• Prescribing treatments and medications within your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up and chronic care management for patients
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Accurately documenting all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Alaska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain them within 90 days)
