Description

• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions emphasizing areas like language development, fluency, and appropriateness of voice.
• Work closely with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to build comprehensive care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families, aiding their understanding and progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the healing journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation meeting all relevant state, federal, and organizational requirements.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally accredited program.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within the first month of employment.
