Oncology Physician Assistant

Total compensation ranges between $130k-$165k

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically driven Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing outpatient oncology team. This is an excellent opportunity for an advanced practice provider who is passionate about delivering patient-centered cancer care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

This position is primarily outpatient-based with occasional inpatient rounding responsibilities as needed.

What You ll Do

• Evaluate and manage patients undergoing oncology and hematology treatment
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, follow-up visits, and symptom management
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans in collaboration with physicians
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as clinically appropriate
• Work closely with oncologists, nurses, infusion staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and symptom management
• Occasionally assist with inpatient consults or rounding as needed
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation within the EMR system
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards
• Support continuity of care and patient navigation throughout treatment

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey NP or PA license required
• AOCNP required
• Oncology or hematology experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
