We're hiring a Pre-Litigation Case Manager who wants real ownership: your own caseload, your own clients, and a direct line to the attorneys making the decisions. No layers of bureaucracy. No waiting three years for someone to notice you.

Here's what makes this different: our founder is a former lead prosecutor and Arizona Assistant Attorney General, and she trains her team personally. You will not be handed a stack of files and left alone. You'll be mentored by firm leadership, gain exposure to client relations, marketing, and firm operations, and grow into more responsibility as we expand, because we're small enough that your work is visible and it matters.

This is a full-time, in-office position at our Phoenix office, five days a week. It is not a remote or hybrid role. We built it that way on purpose: you'll learn faster sitting a few feet from the attorneys, paralegals, and settlement team than you ever would over email.

Compensation:

$25 - $30 hourly depending upon experience

Responsibilities:

• Own a caseload from intake through demand: you are the person the client trusts and calls

• Open and manage claims with auto and health insurance carriers

• Build real relationships with clients: check in on treatment, answer questions, and keep them informed

• Read and analyze medical records, and know the next move before anyone has to ask

• Verify medical billing balances and liens, and negotiate reductions with providers

• Assemble medical bills, wage loss, and supporting documentation into demand packages

• Draft demand letters and legal documents for attorney review

• Keep every file organized, current, and audit-ready, both electronic and paper

• Work shoulder to shoulder with our attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and settlement disbursements team

Qualifications:

• Experience in personal injury pre-litigation, case management, or a related legal support role such as legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal

• A self-starter who can juggle multiple active files at once without dropping details

• Strong writing skills and real comfort drafting legal documents and demand letters

• Genuinely great with people: the clients we serve are having one of the worst years of their lives, and you are the steady voice on the other end of the phone

• Sharp organizational instincts and a bias toward getting ahead of deadlines

• Comfortable in Word, Excel, and case management software

• High school diploma required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, or a 2-year degree with paralegal certification

• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work full-time, in person, in our Phoenix office
