Position Summary

A well-established, asset-based transportation and logistics company is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join its growing commercial team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and helping customers solve transportation challenges.

Previous transportation or sales experience is not required. We are looking for individuals with strong customer service skills who are eager to learn the logistics industry and build a long-term career. Candidates who have worked with customers in blue-collar industries such as construction, manufacturing, industrial services, oil & gas, warehousing, or equipment rental are especially encouraged to apply.

This role works closely with operations, dispatch, and leadership to ensure customers receive outstanding service while supporting the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through phone, email, and other communication channels.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates and exceptional service.

• Learn the company's transportation capabilities and recommend solutions that meet customer needs.

• Prepare pricing proposals and follow up with customers to secure business opportunities.

• Coordinate closely with dispatch and operations to ensure loads are scheduled and executed successfully.

• Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery, proactively communicating updates and resolving issues.

• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and generate additional business.

• Maintain accurate customer information, communications, and sales activity within the CRM system.

• Collaborate with operations to maximize equipment utilization while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Represent the company professionally while building long-term customer partnerships.
