Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individuals' needs and create personalized therapy strategies that empower them to reach their functional objectives

Implement Therapeutic Practices: Leverage research-supported methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and activities of daily living

Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in tandem with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to guarantee comprehensive, well-rounded patient care

Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their caregivers on therapeutic methods to support continuous progress outside of sessions

Assess and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and make necessary adjustments to treatment to ensure patients are on the right path

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported

Active license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
