Sr. Accountant

Jeff Abrams is looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support fund and management company for his client with accounting activity for a Financial Services organization. This position plays a key role in financial reporting, investment activity tracking, cash oversight, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external auditors. The ideal candidate brings strong partnership accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and a hands-on approach to managing detailed financial operations in a fast-paced investment environment.Responsibilities:• Maintain accurate records for investment transactions and investor allocation activity across funds and related entities.• Lead quarterly close processes and prepare periodic financial statements for both funds and management companies.• Support the annual audit cycle by assembling required documentation, responding to auditor requests, and coordinating communications with external audit teams.• Partner with investment professionals to help develop and document portfolio valuation analyses.• Contribute to the accounting and tax support processes related to fund investments and associated entities.• Evaluate liquidity needs, track cash positions, and help manage the timing of capital activity and distributions.• Oversee key cash management tasks, including capital calls and the processing of cash, equity, and token distributions.• Respond to investor inquiries by providing financial information and resolving reporting-related questions in a timely manner.• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness.• Take on special projects and provide accounting support to finance leadership and other senior stakeholders as needed.If you are interested in role, please reach out to Jeff Abrams via LinkedIn
