Job Description Role Summary
The AI Business Analyst plays a critical role in measuring, validating, and communicating the business impact of AI initiatives across the organization. This position ensures that AI investments are aligned with financial goals and supported by clear, data driven insights.
This individual will partner closely with Finance and business leaders to establish baseline metrics, build ROI models, and evaluate post deployment results. They will translate complex data into actionable insights, enabling leadership to make informed decisions and maximize the value of AI driven programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and maintain a structured ROI measurement framework for AI initiatives across the enterprise
• Gather and document baseline operational metrics prior to AI deployment
• Measure post implementation performance against projected outcomes and identify key variances
• Partner with Finance to validate financial impact and ensure alignment with reporting standards
• Track cost allocation across AI initiatives and support attribution to specific business functions
• Develop executive level reporting to communicate program performance and value realization
• Support the development of business cases by quantifying expected benefits of future AI initiatives
• Translate analytical findings into clear insights for non technical stakeholders
Key Requirements
• 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or consulting within a data driven environment
• Strong experience building ROI models and evaluating business impact for technology or transformation initiatives
• Advanced analytical and financial modeling capabilities with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
• Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools with the ability to present insights clearly
• Solid understanding of business drivers, cost structures, and financial performance metrics
• Experience partnering with Finance and business stakeholders on performance measurement
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast paced environment
