Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing occupational therapy services in an engaging 7th–12th grade charter school environment near Santa Fe, NM. In this role, you’ll work with a diverse group of students, delivering crucial therapeutic interventions and supporting student success in a flexible, student-centered setting. This position is available immediately and runs through the end of the school year (May 28th).

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active NM OT license and NMPED credential required
• Relevant experience in school-based occupational therapy, home health, or healthcare environments preferred
• Confidence working independently with middle and high school students
• Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• COTAs will be considered with access to a virtual, licensed OT supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Provide approximately 6 hours per week of direct therapy, with the potential for an increase based on student needs
• Complete necessary indirect hours for documentation, planning, and collaboration—anticipate a total of about 10 hours weekly
• Serve students onsite during flexible school hours (9am-3pm); the charter school can accommodate your preferred workdays
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and track student progress
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all school and licensure requirements
