About the Position The dedicated OTR (Regional) Driver CDL A operates tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment in accordance with all DOT regulations to transport product safely and legally from the Distribution Centers and vendors to their final destination. This position may be assigned to business units that require white‑glove service that goes beyond standard shipping methods. Functions Operate tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment to ensure product is delivered safely and within required timeframes. Secure cargo with straps and devices, monitor freight for proper securing, and ensure goods arrive undamaged. Maintain a clean and orderly truck, follow company policy, and participate in required training. Maintain daily logs, trip reports, and other required documentation. Perform full pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of tractor‑trailer. Immediately report damaged product or mechanical issues to the Transportation Supervisor/Manager. Provide white‑glove service at every delivery. Communicate delivery issues up the line. Keep equipment fueled, tidy, and compliant with inspection requirements. Accountable for all assigned tools and equipment. Maintain professional conduct toward other motorists. Conform to all DOT, OSHA regulations, and state laws. Perform any other reasonable request directed by management. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of tractor‑trailer Class A driving experience. Valid Class A CDL required. Meet FMCSA and company requirements. Pass background and drug screening. Clean driving record.
