Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $44 - $46/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support operating room procedures, maintain sterile technique, and assist with complex surgical specialties in a Level I Trauma Center.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist or appropriate training program.

• Level I Trauma Center experience required.

• Experience with Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedic Trauma, Spine Surgery, and Endovascular Surgery.

• Professional certification through the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) preferred.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize surgical instruments and operating room setups according to surgeon preferences and established policies.

• Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, instruments, and medications during procedures.

• Handle and label surgical specimens according to operating room policies.

• Perform decontamination, disinfection, sterilization, and sanitation of instruments and equipment.

• Safely remove used equipment and dispose of contaminated needles and syringes.

• Participate in team conferences and assist with patient care planning and evaluation.

• Maintain scrub and circulating skills across specialty areas.

• Maintain a safe and sterile operating room environment while supporting patient care needs.
