Apply today! 2nd Shift 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM (Monday - Thursday) Wage: $20.00 - $22.00/Hour TIG Welder Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions to accurately assemble and weld flexible exhaust components - Perform TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel tubing, pipe, corrugated tubing, and braided hose assemblies - Complete high-quality butt joint welds, root and cover passes, full-penetration welds, airtight and watertight welds, and purge welds - Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards - Operate pneumatic tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment safely and effectively - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements Requirements for TIG Welder: - High School Diploma, GED, or HSED required - 15 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred - Ability to successfully pass a welding test - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings - Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges - Ability to safely operate pneumatic and general hand tools - Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds - Ability to perform repetitive hand and eye coordination tasks throughout the shift - Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day - Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation - Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
