• Position: Locum Tenens Pulmonary Critical Care Physician
• Location: Greenville, South Carolina
• Setting: Inpatient / hospital-based ICU and pulmonary consult coverage
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP, pending credentialing
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days; ICU coverage 7:00am–7:00pm and hospital coverage 7:30am–5:00pm, Monday through Sunday
• Weekend Coverage: Yes
• On-Call: No
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,990-$8,280
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 120 days
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric

Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Critical Care; Pulmonary preferred
• Fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine and/or Pulmonology required
• Active, unrestricted medical license
• Active ACLS certification
• Active DEA
• At least 1 year of experience in pulmonary critical care, ICU medicine, or a similar inpatient specialty setting
• Ability to manage critically ill patients and provide general pulmonary consults
• Comfort working in a collaborative, hospital-based care environment
• Epic documentation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pulmonary and critical care coverage for ICU and hospital consult services
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult and geriatric patients with complex pulmonary and critical care needs
• Manage intensive care patients and support general pulmonary consults across the service line
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and hospital staff to ensure consistent daily coverage
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in Epic
• Support both weekday and weekend coverage needs in a busy inpatient setting
