Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate for its Woodbury, NY office. The successful candidate will join a dynamic Labor and Employment practice group, representing employers in complex employment matters across various industries. Duties Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda. Communicate directly with clients, providing strategic guidance and case updates. Take and defend depositions; participate in mediations and settlement negotiations. Engage in investigations, court appearances, motion practice, hearings, and trials. Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex employment matters. Requirements 2+ years of employment litigation experience. Admission to practice in New York required. Exceptional writing, research, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Education JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Certifications Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills Strong litigation, research, writing, and advocacy skills. Experience Experience with employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage & hour litigation.
