Requirements There is a need for Gastroenterology at CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus VA.Board certification requiredCall will be for 24 hours each day. It will require weekend coverage.Must be able to cover GI emergencies including ERCP procedures as needed. 2/16/26We have a need for expanded GI locums coverage for CJW. Can you start sourcing GI candidates based on the below updates? • We still need 1 GI locums everyday who can perform advanced procedures/ERCP. • We now need an additional GI locums to cover at either Chip or JW on weekdays Monday thru Friday from 7am to 5pm. This person does not need to be able to perform advanced procedures. If they can that’s fine but it’s not required since we’ll have the other locums who can. o So we’ll have 2 GI locums per week one at JW and one at Chip with at least one of them able to perform advanced procedures. o The locums that does advanced procedures would cover weeknight call as well. • Weekend call remains the same. We’ll need someone who does advanced procedures to cover both Chip and JW campuses for those shifts. Locums need Gastroenterology for CJW Medical Center in Richmond VA. This is for Chippenham and Johnston Willis Hospitals. Chippenham 466 beds Level I Johnston 292 beds Level III Call will be for 24 hours each day. It will require weekend coverage. The facility asks for 6 hours minimum on site typically starting at 7am Daily Patient Volume: 1 Board Certified: Yes Support Staff: Chip has an NP that helps with GI Does physician need Board Certification? YES EMR: N/A GI emergencies including ERCP procedures as needed. We are open to a general GI that does not do ERCP too Hospital is currently working to find other providers to join the call panel. Let's also make sure the Locums doctor is not doing routine scopes/colons on weekend and truly using appropriate judgment on resource utilization. Here is the information for CJW. Make sure they put in endo request order in Meditech for all consults if procedure is needed so nurses/techs can see even for all patients that get signed out for cases on Monday. 3. To add on cases please call Nursing Supervisor View phone number on locumjobsonline.com Need weekends They need every weekend covered Friday 5pm to 7am Monday REQUIRED ERCP EUS cases also Locums Gastrointestinal Call to include Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography ERCP procedures as needed Coverage will be for weekends Friday Saturday and Sunday for 24 hours per day. WEEKENDS ONLY There are no additional support staff needed Call will be for 24 hours each day. It will require weekend coverage. Must be able to cover GI emergencies including ERCP procedures as needed. Hospital is currently working to find other providers to join the call panel. This coverage will be exclusively for General GIs at the Chippenham Campus
