This hands-on position plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations, minimizing downtime, and ensuring equipment reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.Perform product and machine changeovers on manufacturing equipment.Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules.Install, modify, rebuild, and upgrade production equipment and facility systems.Lead or participate in maintenance projects from planning through completion based on experience and skill level.Utilize diagnostic tools, measurement equipment, and maintenance software to document repairs, labor, and parts usage.Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation.Operate a variety of fabrication, machining, welding, and maintenance equipment.Ensure compliance with all safety policies, GMP requirements, and SQF standards.Train, mentor, and support fellow maintenance team members as needed.Promote a positive, safe, and team-oriented work environment.Equipment You'll Work WithLathesMilling MachinesDrill PressesHydraulic PressesBand SawsGrinders and SandersThreading MachinesWire, Stick, and Aluminum WeldersPumpsAir CompressorsForkliftsDiagnostic and Measurement EquipmentPowered and Non-Powered Hand ToolsQualificationsCandidates will be considered based on a combination of maintenance experience, technical aptitude, education, certifications, and demonstrated skills.Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Ramsey Maintenance Test score of 40 or higher and/or relevant industrial maintenance experience.Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred.Associate degree in a Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Electronics, Robotics, or related technical field preferred but not required.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Experience with fabrication, welding, machining, and equipment repairs.Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.Proficiency with diagnostic tools and measuring equipment.Strong communication, judgment, decision-making, and time management skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing production needs.Willingness to work alternate shifts as needed for training, vacation coverage, or business requirements.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.Comfortable working around moving machinery and industrial equipment.Reasonable Accommodations StatementTo accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
