As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. A Guard Card or license is required. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for role. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
