Job Description Position: Accountant 3 – Division of Behavioral Health (Exempt from Hiring Freeze) Location: Juneau, Alaska (Hybrid work environment) Wage: Effective July1,2026 the wage increased by3%. The wage listed in this posting reflects the increase. Eligibility: Position open to Alaskan Residents only. What You Will Be Doing: In this position, you will work with a team of accounting professionals to provide support and technical assistance for the Division's budget, coordinate the Department of Health's financial requirements with the Division's multiple federal programs, and ensure alignment with relevant regulatory policies. You will assist with financial reviews, reconcile expenditures and revenues, and prepare and implement corrective action plans in response to audit findings. This is an opportunity to directly influence the alignment of behavioral health services with state and federal regulations while driving continuous improvement in fiduciary responsibility.
