Associate Director of Enrollment Services

Summary The Associate Director of Enrollment Services (ADES) collaborates with the Director of Enrollment Services to lead and manage the Enrollment Services department at the campus level. Reporting to the Director or the Campus President/Director, the ADES hires, trains, and develops enrollment services representatives to ensure all prospective and enrolled students receive timely, accurate, compliant, and exceptional customer service. Job Details The ADES is accountable for meeting or exceeding all performance expectations, achieving team goals, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations governing recruiting activities. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Work onsite as a student‑facing employee. Ensure full compliance with all recruiting activities, upholding Carrington College’s conduct and ethics expectations. Provide leadership, training, development, and performance management for all enrollment services team members. Train new Enrollment Services Associates with the necessary skills and knowledge. Assign individual performance goals and review progress daily and weekly. Manage all recruitment activities to maximize efficiency and meet or exceed team goals. Conduct required daily meetings with each enrollment services employee. Perform observations of each enrollment services associate (ESA), document and review observations with the ESA timely and thoroughly. Provide one‑on‑one and team training to enhance skills and performance. Collaborate with Student Finance and Academic Affairs for cross‑departmental meetings and training sessions. Prepare and conduct performance evaluations for enrollment services employees. Conduct New Student Reviews (NSR) and ensure follow‑up with enrolled and interviewed students. Assist the campus in networking and developing professional relationships to generate inquiries at the campus level. Provide accurate and timely enrollment forecasts. Maintain appropriate staffing levels. Establish and maintain an effective system of communication with all departments. Engage in campus community events and activities. Complete other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has direct supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Competency To perform the job successfully, employees should demonstrate integrity, professionalism, adaptability, organizational support, and effective communication. Job Competencies Key competencies include leadership, result orientation, employee performance management, and training and development. Qualifications Associate Degree from an accredited college or university (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Minimum three years of Enrollment Services/Admissions experience. Prior supervisory experience is a plus. Demonstrated multitasking and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Physical Requirements Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Occasionally required to walk, stand, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must lift up to 10 pounds routinely, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally. Work Environment Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions and outside weather. Noise level is usually moderate.
