The goal is to unlock the full potential in each colleague – empowering our people to grow as insurance professionals and add more value to our customers and AIG.How you will create an impactOnboard new business opportunities.Handle up to 2 medium-sized Group Captive accounts.Maintain clear and concise underwriting files and perform self-audits for other underwriters.Communicate risk appetite/Captive Solutions Value Proposition to brokers.Work with Associate Underwriter(s) to ensure booking and coding on accounts are completed.Resolve account-related questions from internal peers and/or Clients/ Brokers that are within their scope; or escalate to leadership.Participate in client (internal/external) conference calls.Develop and maintain professional relationships with the Producers and Captive Intermediaries.What you’ll need to succeed5 years of relevant professional experience; Prior insurance experience required.Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.Demonstrated sales, marketing and relationship building experience.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Highly motivated and results-oriented.Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, adapting to changing requirements and collaborating with a wide range of colleagues to quickly deliver solutions.Willingness to be flexible, learn on the job, and maintain a can-do-attitude.For positions based in New York, the base salary range is $105,000-$135,000. For positions based in Chicago, the base salary range is $100,000-$130,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
