Injection Specialist

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Injection Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of injection molding machines and supporting utilities. This position oversees mold changeovers and the management of molding materials, directs shop floor operations and personnel on the injection molding lines, and leads quality and productivity improvement activities. The role also supports the establishment of new injection molding lines and the installation of automation equipment to strengthen overall manufacturing capability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operation and management of injection machines and utilities

- Mold changeover and management of injection molding materials

- Management of the injection molding line floor and personnel

- Injection molding quality improvement activities

- Productivity improvement for injection molding lines

- Support for establishing new injection molding lines and automation equipment

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or higher

- 5+ years of experience in injection molding processes; able to set and adjust molding conditions

- Able to respond on-site to injection process troubles (molding defects, unstable process conditions)

- Experience as a shop-floor supervisor or in an equivalent role

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.

- Bilingual communication skills in Korean and English.

- Experience with automation equipment for injection post-processing preferred.

- Familiarity with Ford production, shipping, and scheduling requirements.
