Lifeline Therapy Clinic is proactively seeking a dynamic and compassionate full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist—whether you are an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. As part of our dedicated team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mental health services remotely from our Sacramento, California outpatient facility. Your expertise will empower patients to navigate their mental health journeys and improve their overall well-being through culturally sensitive care.

Work Environment\nThis full-time position allows for a flexible, remote work environment, making it easier for you to balance your professional commitments while providing essential mental health care. Our clinic operates with a supportive team-oriented approach, and you will have access to cutting-edge tools and resources to facilitate your practice. While the typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, some flexibility may be needed to accommodate the varying availability of your patients.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account the various cultural contexts of patients to inform individualized treatment plans. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, tailored specifically to each patient, ensuring that their cultural and personal backgrounds are addressed. \n
- Provide various therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, to empower patients in managing their mental health concerns. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver integrated care that encompasses both mental health and wellbeing. \n
- Offer immediate crisis intervention to patients experiencing acute mental health issues and ensure their safety and stabilization. \n
- Engage in educational outreach by informing patients and their families about mental health conditions, effective treatment options, and community resources available to enhance their support systems. \n
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively. \n
- Participate actively in case consults, team meetings, and continual cultural competency training to ensure professional growth and enhanced service delivery. \n
- Stay current with research, emerging best practices, and cultural considerations relevant to mental health therapy. \n
In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population that reflects a wide array of backgrounds, beliefs, and identities. Your responsibility will include understanding and responding to the unique needs of each individual, particularly those from historically marginalized communities. Your efforts will contribute significantly to their recovery and overall quality of life.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- A valid and active state license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. \n
- A deep understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatments, and cultural dynamics in therapy is essential. \n
- Demonstrated experience providing therapy to individuals and groups with a focus on culturally responsive care. \n
- Strong crisis intervention skills with the capacity to maintain composure in sensitive situations. \n
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating rapport-building with patients from diverse backgrounds. \n
- Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and adept in utilizing various digital tools for documentation and communication. \n
- Commitment to uphold ethical boundaries, confidentiality, and professional conduct in all interactions. \n
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team. \n

- A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health counseling. \n
- Previous experience in remote counseling or teletherapy is a plus. \n
- Familiarity with community resources and referral networks that can support the diverse needs of patients. \n
The annual salary range for this position is competitive and set between USD 70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
