Accounting Specialist/AP

Category: Finance and Accounting Job Location: 6361 Walker Lane, suite 1100, Alexandria, Virginia Position Type: Full-Time/Regular CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company, is looking for an Accounting Specialist/AP. As the Accounting Specialist/AP, we are looking for someone who is able to do the following: Independently manage all of the AP processes Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices Prepare accounts payable vouchers to include approvals and account codings Review and process expense reports Perform weekly check run Process monthly subcontractor timesheets Work on process improvements Other duties as assigned Required Skills Minimum of three years of Accounting experience Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint or other GovCon ERP systems Extremely detailed in a highly fast environment Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Excel) Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with whom interaction is required Required Experience Preferred Experience/Skills BA/BS in Accounting and/or Finance from an accredited college/university Other education along with commensurate experience may be substituted Salary range will be $55k-$65K CALIBRE and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports transitioning service members, veterans and individuals with disabilities.
