Farmers Insurance The Mountains & Western Colorado is seeking ambitious, driven, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Protégé Insurance Sales Representatives . This role is designed for aspiring insurance professionals who want to develop the skills, experience, and business knowledge needed to build a successful career in insurance sales and agency ownership.
As a Protégé, you'll work alongside experienced insurance professionals while receiving hands-on training, mentorship, and support. You'll learn how to build client relationships, identify insurance needs, recommend coverage solutions, and grow a book of business. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy helping others, achieving sales goals, and creating long-term career opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, network, and generate new business opportunities.
- Develop relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Conduct insurance reviews and identify coverage needs.
- Educate clients on insurance products and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare quotes and assist clients throughout the sales process.
- Follow up on leads and maintain a consistent sales pipeline.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support policyholders.
- Participate in training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities.
- Learn agency operations, sales strategies, and business development techniques.
- Work toward individual and team sales goals.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a competitive and goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build trust and develop client relationships.
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Sales, customer service, or business development experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a Property & Casualty Insurance License (licensing assistance may be available).
- Desire to learn, grow, and pursue a long-term career in the insurance industry.
