Store Manager in Training

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) role is designed to prepare candidates for a CVS Store Manager position through a 16‑week self‑paced training program that blends virtual and hands‑on learning. Responsibilities Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to support and lead teams. Perform customer care duties to deliver high levels of service. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Actively engage with leaders in key learning experiences to support promotion pathways. Support your store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values. Engage colleagues in the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Be willing to accept promotion roles with the market you work in. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor. Willingness to accept promotion to Store Manager role at any location within the designated market. Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market. Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Pay and Hours Anticipated Weekly Hours : 40 Time Type : Full time Pay Range : $18.50 - $23.88 per hour (base rate or base annual salary). The actual offer is based on experience, education, geography and other factors.
