Clerk III

Pay: $19.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8am - 3pm, 35 hours weekly

Location : Varies - CDPH immunizations clinics and mobile community vaccination events

Minimum qualifications : two years of clerical experience or combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Registers patients upon arrival, collects demographic data,
• Documents verification of eligibility using the State MEDI system,
• Looks up clients’ I-CARE records to support the vaccination actions of the Public Health Nurse I
• Manages medical supply inventories, paper supplies,
• Performs data entry into I-CARE for vaccines administered by the Public Health Nurse I
• Provides good customer service and maintains positive relationships with the public,
• Prepares and send provider notification letters regarding vaccines administered in the clinic,
• Accepts requests from the public for immunization records,
• Maintains various files and records for reports
