About the Position

Job Title: RRT Pediatrics Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: 2 years preferred, NICU Level IV experience required, Pediatrics ICU experience considered License: South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license required Certifications: RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: Ability to work every other weekend, no on-call requirement Description: The position involves working as a registered respiratory therapist specializing in pediatric care. The clinician will work three 12-hour shifts during the day. Holiday rotation is included. The clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs, depending on experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Epic experience is preferred but not required. The facility allows for one shift to be called off every two weeks. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application and will be approved based on unit needs. While local candidates may be considered, non-local candidates are prioritized. A valid South Carolina license must be obtained before the start date. Candidates should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. The position provides care to neonates, adolescents, infants, and pediatrics. Patient diagnoses and special procedures will vary according to unit needs.
