Now Hiring: Contract HR Manager | Elgin, IL | Manufacturing We're working with a well-established manufacturing company in Elgin, IL that needs an experienced HR Manager on a contract basis who can step in, get up to speed quickly, and make an immediate impact. What You'll Be Doing: Leading employee relations and ensuring compliance with federal and Illinois employment law Overseeing benefits administration and supporting open enrollment and vendor management Running full‑cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles across operations and support functions Managing HRIS data integrity, reporting, and HR operational workflows What We're Looking For: 5+ years of HR generalist or HR management experience Manufacturing or industrial industry background Strong working knowledge of Illinois employment law and federal compliance requirements Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP, Workday, UKG, or similar) - SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred - not required Comfortable operating independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment About the Role: 300-700 employee workforce On-site in Elgin, IL Immediate need - targeting a fast start Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
