Role Description The Product Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Vernon, CA, with flexibility for some work‑from‑home arrangements. This role involves becoming a subject matter expert on Westgate Mfg’s lighting products, including specifications, applications, and competitive positioning. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include supporting the sales and customer service teams with product guidance, answering technical and application‑related questions, and assisting customers and partners in selecting solutions that fit their project requirements. The Product Specialist will help prepare product documentation, analyze customer and market feedback, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams on product improvements and launches. Additional duties include conducting product training sessions, maintaining accurate product information, and contributing to a smooth, customer‑centric experience. Qualifications Product expertise and specialization: experience as a Product Specialist or in a similar role, with the ability to understand, explain, and advocate for technical product features and benefits. Analytical capabilities: strong analytical skills to interpret data, customer feedback, and market trends, and to provide insights that support product and sales decisions. Communication and collaboration: clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information to internal teams, partners, and customers and collaborate across departments. Customer‑focused service: proven customer service skills, including responsiveness, problem‑solving, and a commitment to building positive, long‑term relationships. Sales orientation: familiarity with sales processes, working with sales teams, and supporting product positioning to help win projects and grow revenue. Additional beneficial qualifications: experience in lighting, electrical products, or building materials; proficiency with CRM and ERP systems; strong organizational skills; ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment; and an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
