Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Constellation Search Group is seeking a Sr. Accountant for a full-time direct hire position. The Sr. Accountant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of accounting functions for the assigned project. This position is based at the job site in Chicago, IL. Responsibilities: Maintain equity roll forward schedules for a high volume of minority interest owners and prepare related journal entries. Ensure the capitalization table accurately reflects current entity ownership. Work with the legal department on ownership changes and related entity valuations. Responsible for the allocation of net income to minority owners through a complex ownership structure. Account for monthly transactions and interest accruals on related-party and intercompany debt. Prepare equity, investments, and related-party account reconciliations. Calculate and coordinate payment of minority interest owners' monthly/quarterly cash distributions. Track acquisition-related holdback payments, facilitating approval and payment. Work closely with operational accounting to explain changes in account balances and provide supporting documentation. Assist in the preparation of financial statement audit materials, including the consolidated statement of stockholders' equity.
