Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Must-Have: Experience with conscious sedation, bronchoscopy, circulating, colonoscopy, and esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD). Familiarity with ION robot, Fujinon scopes, and Medivator1 is preferred.

Description: This position is part procedure time and part pre/post procedure time. The schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:00. On-call duty involves taking minimal call, currently at every 5th weekend. This role requires a valid state license at the time of submission. Candidates with prior experience in conscious sedation and various endoscopic procedures are preferred. Staff will work with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services. Daily patient census is expected to be around 20, serving adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Key responsibilities include post-procedure recovery, administering conscious sedation, and specimen handling. The unit features 4 procedure rooms and collaborates with various specialists in gastrointestinal and pulmonary care. Candidates must be able to demonstrate effective management of dysrhythmias and monitoring during conscious sedation procedures. Travelers with one year of experience are encouraged to apply.
