Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy. Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.Opportunity Details:Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.Complete an appropriate assessment and develop a treatment plan under the supervision of the Attending Physician.The full-time associate is expected to work three 12-hour clinical shifts each week in various areas of the Department, including the Main ED and Fast Track.Current New York State registration as a Physician AssistantCurrent certification issued by the NCCPAWages and Benefits include:Annual Base Salary: $134,405* - $178,114* based on 40-hour work week and years of State Licensure.The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $147,845** - $195,925**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
