Overview Executes the procurement of Fixtures, Furniture and Equipment (FFE) for the Construction of New Stores, Remodels, and Relocations. Key responsibilities include ensuring Dick's Sporting Goods has the most competitive pricing and highest quality, establishing and maintaining excellent supplier relationships, generating purchase orders, reviewing and processing invoices, managing budgets, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the final product is consistent and accurate to company standards. Fixture, Furniture and Equipment (FFE) Procurement Executes the FFE procurement for House of Sport, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Golf Galaxy Performance Center new stores, remodels, and relocations on schedule and within budgetary parameters. Generates purchase orders and reviews/ processes invoices. Verifies and reviews fixture takeoffs. Cost Containment Monitors and evaluates the program for competitive pricing by bidding each vendor and/or annual renegotiation in partnership with the CapEx sourcing team. Investigates value engineering opportunities. Negotiates National Account discounts and understands fluctuating economic conditions and commodity costs affecting FFE pricing. Budget Management Establishes FFE project pricing for approval to finance and construction. Forecasts and maintains budgets in partnership with the construction team. FFE Supplier Relations Supports the supplier relationship team and any business review meetings with FFE suppliers to establish and maintain positive working relationships, ensuring suppliers provide competitive pricing and high quality that serve the company’s best interest. Solves company and supplier issues, encourages healthy competition, and partners with the supplier relationship team on recurring supplier scorecards and performance conversations. Consolidates feedback from the construction team back to suppliers on performance. Interface and Communication Develops a relationship and communicates regularly with the FFE suppliers and departments including visual merchandising, construction, development, store design & planning, finance, etc. to resolve issues and questions. Fixture Development Assists the Manager of Procurement with the development of new fixtures. Supports obtaining data to maintain and track FFE details in a consolidated database, including pricing, specifications, drawings, installation, and delivery. Ensures supplier details and specifications are current and accurate.
