Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients of all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established protocols.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Explain procedures to patients with professionalism to foster a trusting and comfortable environment.
• Maintain accurate records of collected specimens and related documentation.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment for both patients and staff.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors with a focus on process excellence and confidentiality.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to meet daily operational needs, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.

Required Skills

• Proven phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive patient experience.
• Excellent data entry and recordkeeping capabilities.
• Ability to perform error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation and specimens.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; one or more years preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is a plus.
• Keyboard and data entry experience mandatory.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed.
• Candidate should list home city and commute time within 20–25 minutes to the worksite.
• Availability to work scheduled shifts with punctuality and full shift attendance is essential.
