Team Leader IV - 2nd Shift

Job Summary Coordinates the activities of a group of employees in order to meet established production specifications and schedules including volume, cost, wastage targets and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) compliance: stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards, work‑related injury, illness, incident or hazard; comply with HSE standards, policies & procedures; use PPE; promote inter‑dependent culture; correct hazards and safety concerns; engage in HSE training. Quality: follow all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as SPC, poka‑yoke and visual standards; raise quality concerns; perform quality inspections; identify and control non‑conforming material. Delivery: monitor performance and output of the team; assign tasks and inputs to ensure work specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste targets and quality standards are met; ensure team members follow process documentation; function as first responder to equipment faults, parts shortages, quality issues, and safety issues; coordinate communication between shifts, team leaders, customers, suppliers and support functions. People & Training: assist management in organizing and coordinating headcount and overtime; schedule, complete and document on‑job and other training; coach and mentor less experienced team members; facilitate continuous improvement; communicate effectively with team and support teams; complete training and personal development for upcoming changes; participate in improving quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development. Health and Safety Fundamentals – Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an inter‑dependent culture and contribute to an injury‑free workplace. Manufacturing Knowledge – Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement. Education, Licenses, Certifications High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on‑the‑job experience. Lead the maintenance team by setting priorities, work assignments and projects. Industrial maintenance experience required; specific knowledge on automation, hydraulics, welding and CNC machining desired. 5 years minimum industrial maintenance experience required.
