Vassar Brothers Medical Center, part of Northwell Health, is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join its expanding division in Poughkeepsie, New York. The role is ideal for a physician looking to practice in a comprehensive community cancer program with access to state-of-the-art facilities and research opportunities.Practice InfoEmployed position within a growing division.Model of care is multi-disciplinary and integrated, working towards disease site specificity.Developing a cohesive team of medical oncologists and allied health providers.Provides tertiary oncology services and is accredited by The American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program.Rapidly growing program currently seeing approximately 1800 analytic cancer cases yearly.Multidisciplinary Tumor Boards bring together a diverse team of specialists to collaboratively analyze complex patient cases.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Surgical and Radiation Oncologists to develop a cohesive team.Participate in multidisciplinary Tumor Boards to analyze complex patient cases and develop personalized treatment plans.Pursue research and clinical trials.Compensation$50,000 Sign on bonus/retention package for full time candidates.Highly competitive compensation package.Compensation: $400,000-$600,000/ per year relative to experience and position.BenefitsRelocation allowance is available for full time candidates.Comprehensive benefits.Generous allowances for CMEs, dues, and relocation assistance.RequirementsTraining and/or experience in GI/GU preferred.
