Medical Oncologist

OptumCare Cancer Care is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join their multi-specialty group in Las Vegas, NV. This role offers an opportunity to shape the future of integrated, value-based cancer care within a patient-focused environment. The successful candidate will contribute to a team providing individualized treatments and highly coordinated care across multiple locations, including a state-of-the-art Cancer Center.

Practice Info

• Multi-specialty group
• Integrated team-based model including oncology advanced practice clinicians, a breast care team, and radiation oncology team
• State-of-the-art 55,000 square-foot Cancer Center located at the gateway to the Las Vegas Medical District
• Multiple locations across the Las Vegas Valley
• Services offered include medical oncology, surgical oncology, imaging, semi-private infusion bays, angio suite, breast care, palliative care, genetic counseling, and a patient resource library
• New, full-service location opening September 2025 in Henderson, Nevada

Responsibilities

• Inpatient consults only involve established patients or patients that qualify for our services
• Consultations are shared among the team depending on volume and need

Compensation

• $150,000 Sign-on Bonus for External Candidates
• Newly updated, competitive compensation package that includes base compensation, sign on bonus, and quarterly bonus plan
• The salary range for this role is $281,500 to $708,000 annually
• Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target
• The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement
• Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
• Unrestricted license to practice in Nevada or ability to obtain prior to employment
• DEA License or ability to obtain prior to employment
