Position Information Title: Corporate Accountant Banner Position Number: 002189 E-Class: NC - Nonclassified - .53 or > Department: Accounting Office - MU4300 Work Location: MU - Marshall University Job Description Preparation and posting of accrual based journal entries to record assets, liabilities, and revenue/expense restatements for the financial statements in the University accounting system (Banner). Process payments between University departments and/or other State agencies. Reconciling purchase card transactions and cash balances in the University and State accounting systems. Qualifications Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description. Education: Bachelor’s degree (Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration). Experience: One year related work experience (Preferred: Three plus years of accounting experience). Compensation and Employment Salary Range: $52,105 - $67,736.
