PPC Manager (Mid-level) (United States)

B9 is hiring a mid-level PPC Manager to scale paid search and paid social for our cash advance app, ideally someone who has already done it at another cash advance, lending or fintech company.

What you'll do

• Run paid search and paid social day to day. Build, launch and optimize campaigns on Google, Meta and TikTok. Own structure, bidding, budgets and pacing.
• Optimize for the full funnel, not installs. Bid toward deep events (account open, direct deposit set up, first advance, paid subscription) and feed quality signals back to the platforms.
• Win on search. Own keyword strategy for high-intent, high-CPC terms like cash advance app, paycheck advance and competitor names. Manage negatives, match types and brand defense.
• Run a creative testing engine. Brief and test new hooks, formats and UGC with design every week. Kill losers fast, scale winners.
• Keep ads compliant. Work with Legal and creative team, so every ad and landing page follows platform financial-services policies and our rules.
• Own measurement. Keep AppsFlyer, GA4 and SKAN set up right. Report weekly on spend, CPI, CAC, conversion by funnel step and payback.
• Manage budget. Shift spend across channels and geos based on unit economics, including state availability.
• Watch the market. Track competitors' ads and offers, plus policy and algorithm changes.

What you bring

• 3–5 years hands-on managing PPC for a mobile app in the U.S. market
• Paid acquisition experience in fintech, consumer lending, payday, or brokerage/trading apps
• Hands-on expertise in Google Ads (Search and App campaigns), Meta, TikTok & programmatic
• Proven record of scaling spend while holding or lowering CAC; ready to share numbers in the interview
• Experience optimizing to down-funnel events, not just installs
• Solid with AppsFlyer (or Adjust/Branch), GA4 and SKAN; comfortable in spreadsheets and dashboards
• Know the financial-services ad policies on Google, Apple and Meta, and how to get ads approved
• Able to work Eastern Time hours

Strong plus

• You've run PPC channel at another cash advance, earned wage access (EWA), payday, lending company or neobank app
• Experience with state-by-state geo targeting and regulated products
• Basic SQL skills
