A Proposal Coordinator is a professional responsible for managing and coordinating the creation, development, and submission of proposals (including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs) to prospective clients. This role is vital in the business development lifecycle, acting as the central point of contact, ensuring all proposal elements are completed on time, meet quality standards, and comply with all requirements. What You’ll Do Here Manage the proposal schedule with the Project Manager, outlining deadlines for drafting, editing, reviews, approvals, and ensuring deliverables are submitted on time. Act as a liaison between departments (Business Development, Estimating, Finance, Engineering, Legal, Contracts, Quality, CM/PM, Procurement) to gather information, ensuring consistency and alignment with client needs. Develop and organize proposal content, drafting sections, editing contributions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a library of standard content. Perform quality assurance and compliance checks, reviewing content for accuracy, completeness, grammar, formatting, and graphical consistency with company standards. Facilitate kickoff and debrief meetings, communicate project progress, provide feedback, and coordinate follow‑up activities after submission. Handle administrative tasks such as printing, production, status tracking, and database/file maintenance. What You Bring To The Team Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, English, or related field. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong organizational, time‑management, and project‑management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and potentially graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams and senior leadership. Thorough understanding of the proposal development process and RFP/RFI requirements. Industry knowledge of commercial or federal nuclear, with familiarity of FAR/DFARS regulations, is highly beneficial.
