THE JOB:
As a Cook, you will bring culinary passion, precision, and energy to the heart of our kitchen operations. In this fast-paced role, you will skillfully execute a variety of cooking techniques while delivering exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation. Beyond the plate, you will help create unforgettable guest experiences by bringing a warm, service-driven mindset and a commitment to excellence in every interaction. By understanding our guests' unique preferences and delivering with care, you will help create WOW moments and lasting memories long after their visit.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques
- Identify and safely use kitchen equipment
- Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
- Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
- Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation
- Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service
- Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups
- Work as a team, assist all guests' needs and inquiries
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Brings 1+ years of cooking experience, ideally in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, resort, or production kitchen environment
- Has previous high-volume production kitchen experience, preferably in large-scale banquet, commissary, cook chill, or bulk food production operations
- Demonstrates strong knife skills, culinary fundamentals, and the ability to execute food preparation with speed, precision, and consistency
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work on-call varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
