Development Coordinator, Strategic Philanthropy & Engagement

The Mass General Brigham Development Office offers excellent benefits, competitive salaries and a hybrid flexible work schedule.To Apply:Applications must include a current resume and a cover letter detailing applicable experience and accomplishments.The Development Coordinator is an administrative or programmatic support role within the Mass General Brigham Development Office. With appropriate guidance, the Coordinator handles several important administrative functions for assigned individuals or programs, including calendar management, data entry, preparations and follow-up for meetings and events, business expenses and travel arrangements, among others. Also, the Coordinator may handle data entry, gift booking, preparing and/or editing documents and reports, and support programmatic projects.Proactively manage the calendars of assigned individuals, keeping them free of scheduling conflicts,Coordinate logistics, prepare agendas and other materials, take notes and organize follow-up actions for meetings, events, appointments and presentations, troubleshooting issues as needed.Work with diverse audiences across the office to proactively coordinate follow up and track projects and deliverables.Write and/or edit documents, and interpret information necessary to draft responses as neededAttend to constituent phone and email inquiries, as needed.Submit employee expenses and vendor invoices with accuracy.Gather and record data and action items in a donor database, ensuring thorough documentation of fundraising activity and results.Assist in the processing of charitable gifts and pledges, providing thorough backup information and documentation in a timely manner.Assist with daily administrative activities, such as creating tracking tools and pulling reports for project management support.Make travel arrangements, prepare travel itineraries and troubleshoot and resolve potential conflicts.Assist on high-level Donor Project Management, International, and Moves Management initiatives and duties as needed.Serve as administrative lead for portfolio reports for MGB and hospital leadership.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or relationship-building role required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills, abilities and competencies:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsOrganizational, time management, problem solving and project management skillsCommand of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, or the ability to learn them quicklyCompetency using videoconferencing platforms (Zoom and Teams preferred)Proficiency with data entry or data management in a database (Blackbaud CRM or Raiser’s Edge preferred)Meticulous attention to detail, creativity and strong work ethicDesire and motivation to learn about the organization and fundraisingAwareness of personal work styles in self and othersAdaptability and flexibility in times of shifting priorities, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work autonomously under pressure of multiple and sequential deadlinesAbility to work collaboratively with diverse audiencesMission drivenAdditional Job Details (if applicable)Remote TypeHybridWork Location399 Revolution DriveScheduled Weekly Hours40Employee TypeRegularWork ShiftDay (United States of America)Pay Range$19.81 - $28.30/HourlyGrade3At Mass General Brigham, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the unique value each team member brings to our organization.
